8ASTERD ■
A control surface for the 8-Bit 8asterd: nine voices of chiptune across three AY-3-8910 chips, with effects built out of what those chips do when you push them past their limits. Everything below edits the unit live over USB. Save to Unit writes the settings into its memory so it keeps them with no computer attached.

chords + harpSeven roots around the circle of fifths, three chord types, and a strumpad whose twelve notes follow whatever chord is held. Works with a mouse, a finger, or the letter keys.

16 stepsSixteen steps of drums. Tap the row name to audition a sound. Everything the Drums and Drum FX sections do applies while it runs, so this is the quickest way to hear what Roll, Chaos or a Warp mode actually do to a pattern.

A password carries the settings alone — short enough to read aloud or print on a card. Save Game carries everything else.
MIDI File
No file loaded. Channel 10 plays the drum kit; every other channel goes to the tone voices, so every setting on this panel shapes the playback — temperament, envelope, unison, the Warp Zone, all of it.
